Confessions of an uptown girl…

Bad luck… I crashed my car against a taxi which has stopped at the traffic light heading downhill at 1 am in the morning… Sigh…. It’s lucky that the driver and I escaped unhurt cos both cars were seriously damaged beyond recognition… Well the bonet of my car was totally crushed… flat in.. and there were engine oil as well as water dripping from the rear of my car…. the worst thing was I was trapped in my car cos both the front doors were jammed and I had to practically squeeze myself out thru a small gap I managed to force open… It was seriously a horrifying experience…. As for the taxi… let’s just say that u can’t tell whether the car originally came with 4 doors/ 2 doors…

I apologised to the taxi driver profusely as I knew it was entirely my fault for banging his stationary car… I was mortified that the taxi driver still had the mood to joke with me after all the drama…. Who the hell would have the mood to reply "its ok… cos its my first time being hit by a leng lui .. haha… its my honour…" i was like WTF ??????… Gawd….

I seriously didn’t know the impact of the accident until I woke up the next morning with bruises on my body… marks from the tugging of the safety belt… Well it could have been much worse… the police was surprised I was practically unhurt from the condition of both cars…

Well.. my car is gonna b in the workshop for at least 2-3 weeks… and I’m starting 2 wonder if I can survive that long without a car… Sigh… sigh.. sigh…

Lesson learnt…. Don’t ever drive under the influence of alcohol…. I’ve been taking things for granted…. thinking that nothing bad will happen since I’ve been doin it quite frequently… I’ve experienced the consequences and I’m seriously not proud of it…

I’m in between jobs.. Yeah.. AGAIN!!.. these 2 days… been bumming around doin asolutely nothing useful to society…. shopping.. again… (Hmm.. Does it count as contributing to the development of our local economy?)… catched a movie with frens… btw Charlie Wilson’s War is only so-so.. not reali as inspiring as I tot it would be…. and loads of sleeping, wine sipping  and munching on sinful food… sabotaged my own diet plan.. sigh….

Starting my new job tomorrow… arrrgghhh… sien… sien… luckily its a Friday.. Phew.. at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel… hehe.. weekend is just a stone throw away… yay! My new office is gonna be in Pee Jay… and its even further away from KPMG.. someone please drag me out of bed in the mornings… Ugh…. Well hopefully it will be a great start for me *wink*.. I’m keeping my fingers crossed…

Shopping has been good for the past week

Bought 7 dresses, 11 tops, 6 pairs of heels, a bottle of new sexy perfume, 3 necklaces, 6 pairs of earrings and plenty of make-up (lippies, eyeshadows, powder…)…. all in the span of 1 week…

No.. I’m not a shopaholic.. Are you talking bout me? Are u calling me a shopaholic? Wait a minute… I don’t think so… I refuse to be victimised by such accusations… Shopping is just a hobby I enjoy very much… Everyone collects something right? From stamps to glittery sport cards… I just love to collect stuff I shop… Thats all… Okay… Well.. lets just say I’m weak when it comes to girly clothes and killer heels (9 West rulez!!!)…. Oh.. and lip glosses 2…. All those yummy smelling lippies are sinfully addictive… Can’t help it…

I earn my keeps so there’s nothing to be guilty about…. TGIF today…. Weekend is approaching and I’m anticipating more shopping sessions.. hehe…

I’m just lovin it! ;P

He’s leavin on a jet plane… dunno when he’ll be back again… Sigh.. today a close buddy of mine, TCY is leaving to HK… gonna miss u lots… actually missin u lots already.. wonder who is gonna accompany me to Borders for books as well as drive around for food hunting sessions (hmmm…. I think my diet plan will materialise after u leave.. since nobody will tempt me with yummy yet sinful food d.. hehe…) and no 1 2 listen 2 my crappy adventures and misadventures d when I can’t sleep/ when I suddenly get sober early in the morning (cos no 1 wakes up at 8.30am on weekends except u!)… sigh.. but I’m sure u will discreetly pack with u all the highly classified secrets we share rite… rite… rite… dun forget I knoe quite a bit bout yr…*ahem*… "darker side" 2… hehe…

Hope that everythin will be good for you in HK… and dun forget to reserve a room for me in yr apartment.. I’ll definitely be visiting u during the megasale… since food and accommodation is provided —> by U ..Yay!!! Cheers… buddies 4eva!
